Expleo Group is seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop Specialist in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide end user support following migration to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and to engage in the migration project from Citrix to Azure AVD cloud. The successful candidate will configure and manage Azure subscriptions, Resource Groups, and permissions for users or groups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the migration project from Citrix to Azure AVD cloud.
- Configure and manage Azure subscription, Resource Groups, and user permissions.
- Utilize technical experience in Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Active Directory Domain Services (AADDS), Azure Kerberos, and Azure AD Connect.
- Install and configure Azure Networking components (VNET, Subnets, NIC, NSGs) according to architectural design.
- Provision VMs within the respective subnets and Azure Compute resources as designed.
- Implement command line tasks using PowerShell and Azure Modules, manage ARM templates for deploying Azure resources.
- Configure FSLogix Profile Containers on VM Clusters and manage Azure Storage accounts for File shares.
- Write PowerShell scripts for task automation.
- Use Azure Monitor and Insights for performance monitoring of Azure components.
- Configure Azure Log Analytics and write KQL queries for reporting.
- Manage Autoscaling in the AVD environment using tools like Nerdio.
- Implement software updates, patches, and new application deployments on AVD and relevant tools.
- Collaborate closely with AVD, M365, and Network implementation teams for seamless integration of business applications.
- Prepare documentation related to AVD support and technical processes to guide new team members.
- Conduct daily health checks to ensure uptime and availability of AVD-related services.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in mixed enterprise environments.
- Manage Group Policy Objects (GPO) specific to AVD Organizational Units (OUs) for security hardening and automation.
- Manage application deployment using MSIX packages and SCCM packages via FSLogix app masking while updating golden images.
- Provide technical support including troubleshooting end user issues and handling break/fix scenarios.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience related to IT support, specifically managing environments with over 1000 users through Azure Virtual Desktop.
- At least 2 years of direct experience in deploying Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
- Strong background in application packaging for deployment within Azure Virtual Desktop and physical desktop environments.
- Proficiencies in SCCM, GPO management, and customizing installation scripts for compatibility with AVD.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Windows infrastructure technologies both in Azure and on-premises.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in AVD & Windows 365, M365 implementation.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, application packaging formats (MSI/APP-V/MSIX).
- Familiarity with ARM Templates, Azure Automation, FlexApp, Nerdio, Intune, AppAttach, and Azure Data Analytics.
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work shifts for 24/7 end user support.
