Back-End Developer

About the Role:

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Back-End Developer to engage in the development, troubleshooting, and debugging of microservices. You will work collaboratively with DevOps engineers to enhance cutting-edge technologies that improve legacy services. The role also involves gathering and addressing technical requirements, providing training and support to internal teams, and building reusable code and libraries for future use.

• Location: Dubai, Business Bay, Opus Tower
• Working Time: Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Sundays off

Responsibilities:

• Develop, troubleshoot, and debug microservices
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy services
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to develop microservices
• Gather and address technical requirements
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Follow emerging technologies
• Exhibit teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Display strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and time management skills

Required Skills:

• TypeScript (based on Google TypeScript style guide)
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• NestJS/ExpressJS
• Git
• MongoDB (Aggregation pipelines)
• Microsoft Azure (PubSub, EventHub, ServiceBus, Cache for Redis, API Management)
• Microsoft Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards)
• Basic knowledge of Docker, containerization, microservices architecture
