Backend Crypto Engineer - L1

You will join the Crypto team, which is responsible for integrating the company’s systems with a vast range of cryptocurrencies and blockchains. Your primary focus will be on protecting client funds and building systems that facilitate the timely processing of client transactions while ensuring the safety and security of all funds on the exchange.

Responsibilities

• Integrate existing systems with new blockchains.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, secure applications and data protection systems.
• Write highly scalable, high-volume services.
• Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and optimize database schemas.
• Own, develop, and maintain existing crypto services.

Skills Required

• At least 3 years of backend development experience.
• General knowledge of layer-1 blockchain development.
• Strong backend development skills, with proficiency in Typescript (Node.js) and/or Rust.
• Deep understanding of cryptographic concepts and scalable application design.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Temporal, and GNU/Linux environments.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools (Git) and experience with automated testing frameworks.
• A passion for secure, privacy-focused blockchain solutions and a general interest in cryptocurrencies.
• Resilience and adaptability in rapidly evolving technical landscapes.
• Strong AI proficiency is highly desirable.
