Backend Developer (.NET)

About the Role

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications and APIs using the .NET framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend solutions that support modern enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using the .NET framework.
• Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Integrate backend services with databases and frontend applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and solution architects.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities.
• Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in .NET backend application development.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database development.
• Good understanding of software design principles, clean code, and scalable application architecture.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
