Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the APIs and services behind the company Studio using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and optimize database tables and queries in PostgreSQL for performance.
- Develop integrations with payment, messaging, and other services while adhering to data-protection regulations.
- Write tests, conduct code reviews, and support the ongoing operation of the service.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and the product team to implement new features.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Located in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
- At least 3 years of experience building backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Proficient in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Proficient in spoken and written Arabic or English; knowledge of both languages is a plus.
Pay and Terms
- Total monthly salary of SAR 16,000–24,000, including basic salary and allowances, based on experience.
- Full-time position based on-site at our Riyadh office, with working days, hours, and annual leave in accordance with Saudi Labour Law.
- Health insurance and GOSI registration as mandated by Saudi law.
Selection Process
- All applications will receive a response within 7 days.
- Initial 30-minute video call, where we will provide an introduction to the company Studio.
- Shortlisted candidates will complete a 30-minute technical exercise using the company Studio on our test account (no personal account needed).
- A final interview will be conducted in Riyadh, with results communicated to all interviewed candidates within 30 days.
