Backend Developer - Payments

We are seeking a strong back-end developer with proficiency in Node.js, Express.js/NestJS, TypeScript, and REST API design. The ideal candidate will leverage AI capabilities to minimize coding time while improving quality. Proven hands-on experience in integrating and managing payment gateways (credit/debit card, wallet, UPI, QR, and offline POS) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage API security (OAuth2.0, JWT, OCSP stapling, HTTPS headers).
• Gain working knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Implement Azure components including Azure DevOps, Cosmos, Azure SQL, Redis, Functions, Event Hub, and Service Bus.
• Design and build advanced, scalable APIs on Azure.
• Understand business requirements and map them to the product, acting as a consultant on technical matters.
• Integrate with other backend services using JSON, XML, etc.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of payment domain concepts: authorization, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, refunds, retry mechanisms, tokenization, and PCI DSS compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in FinTech, eCommerce, or Loyalty platforms.
• Exposure to AI-driven fraud or anomaly detection systems.
• Familiarity with offline payment flows (POS, kiosks, QR terminals).

Work Conditions:

• Contract position, on-site.
• Salary: Up to 18,000 AED per month.
• Notice Period: 30 Days.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is preferred.
