Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems for AI platforms, products, or applications.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to build efficient APIs.
- Implement security best practices to protect application data.
- Debug and resolve backend-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with strong proficiency in Python, Java, or another backend programming language.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in design patterns.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with various architectures, such as modular monolithic, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
