Your Role:
As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building cutting-edge platforms that enable seamless and scalable transactions. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing our secure and robust software infrastructure, collaborating with talented engineers, designers, analysts, and product experts, and addressing users’ pain points through technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Collaborate with engineering, business, product, and operations teams to build user-friendly features.

Your Expertise:

• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in building scalable products and services.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of AWS, OCI, Kubernetes/Docker.
• Experience with distributed systems and messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Javascript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
• Proactive, goal-oriented, and self-structured.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
