Your Role
We are seeking Backend Engineers to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge platforms that facilitate seamless and scalable transactions. Utilizing your expertise in payment, shopping, and banking systems, you will design, develop, and optimize our secure software infrastructure, creating unique user experiences.
You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, designers, analysts, and product experts, managing cross-functional initiatives to innovate the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank. A positive team player, you will approach challenges with determination and empathy, ensuring effective collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across the company’s engineering teams.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Work with engineers to build features that enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to address user pain points.
Your Expertise
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience in building scalable products and services.
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of AWS, OCI, Kubernetes/Docker.
- Experience with distributed systems using messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Javascript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and well-structured in your approach.
- Experience as a developer in a startup environment is a plus.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
