Your Role
We are seeking Backend Engineers to join our team. As a Backend Engineer at Tamara, you will be crucial in building cutting-edge platforms that enable seamless and scalable transactions. Your proficiency in payment, shopping, and banking systems will help you design, develop, and optimize our secure software infrastructure, creating unique experiences for our users.
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, analysts, and product experts, to leverage system design, create technical solutions, and resolve complex problems.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Collaborate with our business, product, and operations teams to understand and solve user pain points.
Your Expertise
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience in building scalable products and services.
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of AWS, OCI, Kubernetes/Docker.
- Experience with distributed systems and messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and self-structured approach.
- Experience as a developer in a startup environment is a plus.
- Team player, creative thinker, and passionate about exploring new technologies.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
