Backend Engineer

The company is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with proficiency in .NET 6+ for the development of scalable microservices solutions in a Kubernetes and cloud-native environment. The role involves architecting, designing, and developing high-performance backend services using .NET Core, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop reactive, scalable backend services within a microservices architecture.
• Lead technical initiatives including setting coding standards and conducting design reviews.
• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement advanced security and data protection measures to comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.

Experience Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development focusing on backend engineering with .NET Core.
• Expertise in developing Web API/RESTful services at scale.
• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed caching strategies.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and message brokers.

Preferred Skills:

• Backend expertise in .NET 6+.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
