Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant microservices.
- Ensure system scalability, observability, and failover mechanisms.
- Write clean, testable code and perform regular code reviews.
- Implement microservices design patterns for distributed systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to containerize applications using Docker and deploy via Kubernetes.
- Monitor and improve application performance and reliability in production.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of programming experience focused on backend engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages like Python is a plus.
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Understanding of CI/CD, Git workflows, and DevOps principles.
