The Global Travel Business team at ByteDance is dedicated to developing advanced product solutions in the Corporate Services domain to enhance management efficiency and user experience for business travel. We create intelligent decision-making platforms for business owners and build effective applications for ticket and hotel reservations, with our travel app being the most welcomed business app in ByteDance. We promote creative ideas, leading to innovative product features born from our daily operations.
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Develop server-side projects for ByteDance's travel products, ensuring highly available, high-performance, and scalable solutions through quality design and coding.
- Explore tools and processes to enhance team efficiency, contributing to the team's technical construction and atmosphere.
- Participate in all stages of the product delivery cycle, including requirement reviews, system design, testing communication and support, monitoring and operating production systems, and project management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related fields preferred.
- Proficiency in Java or Golang; familiarity with JVM/Golang pprof tuning methods and quick issue resolution.
- Knowledge of distributed system design patterns and ability to use message queues, distributed storage, caches, and locks to create efficient, robust systems.
- Understanding of operating systems, computer networks, and information security; capable of solving problems with common data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with MySQL and major NoSQL databases, including usage, optimization, and independent problem analysis and resolution.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language; ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on Linux.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead medium and large project developments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AI/ML and the ability to apply them within the business context.
