The Global Travel Business team at ByteDance is focused on delivering advanced product solutions in the Corporate Services domain to enhance management efficiency and user experience in business travel. This includes the development of intelligent decision-making platforms for business owners and efficient applications for ticket and hotel reservations, with the travel app being the most welcomed business app within ByteDance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop server-side projects for ByteDance's travel products, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability through quality design and coding.
- Explore tools and processes to improve team efficiency and contribute to the team's technical construction and atmosphere.
- Engage in all stages of the product delivery cycle, including requirement review, system design, testing communication and support, monitoring operations of production systems, and project management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above, ideally in computer science or a related field.
- Familiarity with Java or Golang technology stacks; understanding of JVM/Golang tuning methods for service issue resolution.
- Knowledge of distributed system design patterns and experience with message queues, distributed storage, caching, and locking technologies.
- Understanding of operating systems, computer networks, and information security, coupled with the ability to utilize common data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with MySQL and mainstream NoSQL databases, including usage optimization and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language and ability to troubleshoot independently on Linux systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to lead medium to large project development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AI/ML applicable to the business domain.
