We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Backend Team Lead (Go) to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a small team of skilled backend engineers, improve internal processes, manage resources efficiently, and enhance our backend infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of backend technologies and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead: Motivate, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers to achieve their full potential while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Build the Team: Hire high-caliber software engineers to solve arising problems while being hands-on.
- Manage Resources: Ensure proper distribution of engineering work to align with product and company priorities.
- Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure efficiency and that technical decisions meet our quality, performance, scalability, and product goals.
- Reliability: Define and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for the set of services under your purview.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in blockchain-based projects and handling production incidents is a plus.
- Experience in leading a fully remote team is also advantageous.
