We are looking for a Senior Backup & Storage Engineer to join our team for a government entity in Central Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience with EMC Storage, specifically SAN/NAS systems (including Networker & Data Domain), SAN switches zoning, and RAID utilities.

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Management (O&M) for daily backup, restore, monitoring, operations, support, and troubleshooting of the organization's main servers and databases.
Perform recovery procedures in case of disasters or outages.
Conduct periodic verification procedures of backups to ensure data protection.
Participate in the development and unification of current backup policies and procedures, analyze backup service issues, and prepare all related reports.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Backup & Restore processes and EMC Storage products.
Proven experience in systems daily backup and restore operations.
Familiarity with patching and version upgrades as required.
