We are currently looking for a Banking Application Support Analyst for our operations in Bahrain. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth functioning of mission-critical banking applications and providing first-level help desk support outside of normal working hours.

Responsibilities

Run all operational tasks for mission-critical banking applications.
Monitor and ensure service availability for 24x7 operations.
Perform data backups for all business applications.
Ensure data replication from main sites to disaster recovery sites in Bahrain and London.
Escalate user-reported issues and system/application faults.
Take over first-level help desk responsibilities after normal working hours.
Provide support to other IT teams as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor's degree.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT Operations.

Areas of Knowledge / Experience

Experience in data center operations, including monitoring, incident handling, and escalation.
Previous experience in the banking domain or working with financial institutions is required.
Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle and SQL Server is essential.
IT certifications in areas like Windows, Linux, and SQL will be considered an advantage.
Non-IT certifications, such as ITIL, are a plus.
