About the Role
We are currently looking for a Banking Application Support Analyst for our Bahrain operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of critical banking applications, maintaining service availability, and providing necessary support to various IT teams.

Responsibilities

Run all operational tasks on all mission-critical banking applications.
Monitor and ensure service availability 24x7.
Take data backups of all business applications.
Ensure data replication from main sites to the disaster recovery (DR) site located in Bahrain and London.
Escalate user-reported and system/application faults.
Take over first-level help desk responsibility after normal working hours.
Support other IT teams as needed.

Requirements

Minimum bachelor's degree.
1-2 years of experience in IT Operations, preferably within the banking or financial sector.

Areas of Knowledge / Experience

Experience in Data Center Operations, including monitoring, incident handling, and escalation.
Familiarity with the banking domain or financial institutions is essential.
Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
IT certifications in areas like Windows, Linux, SQL, etc., will be considered an advantage.
Non-IT certifications such as ITIL are a plus.
