Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Business Continuity Management framework.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly review and update BCM policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify potential threats and impacts to business operations.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather data and analyze critical business functions.
- Utilize BCM solutions such as Clearview and Castellan for planning, implementation, and management of BCM activities.
- Customize and optimize BCM tools to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery plans (DRPs).
- Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure comprehensive and effective recovery strategies.
- Conduct BCM training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
- Ensure staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disruption.
- Plan and execute regular testing and exercises of BCPs and DRPs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of plans and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as a key member of the incident response team during disruptions.
- Coordinate response activities and communication to ensure swift recovery and continuity of operations.
- Monitor and review BCM performance metrics.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned and feedback.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Business Continuity Management.
- In-depth knowledge of BCM frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 22301).
- Proficiency with BCM solutions such as Clearview and Castellan.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in BCM (e.g., CBCI) is preferred.
