About the Role
The Key Markets Team is responsible for developing the company International Government's business in strategic growth markets. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is a fast-growing market for the company, with several campaigns being pursued in the Government sector. The candidate will be responsible for all business development activities in KSA and the GCC region, with a primary focus on KSA. Responsibilities include lead generation, opportunity development, campaign management with various business units, and stakeholder management with a focus on pipeline generation. The ideal candidate should have a good working knowledge of KSA and the region, a strong background in government sector business, and the ability to work in virtual team setups across domains and functions. The solutions developed and delivered will enable government customers to achieve mission-critical communications, ensuring that end users can operate with confidence to deliver outcomes. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with business areas, business units, functional leaders, and corporate functions, with significant exposure to senior leadership given the importance of the region.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the strategy and deliverables that will enable business growth
- Develop the long-term pipeline that will form part of the company long-range business plan
- Develop new business with support from business areas
- Collaborate across business functions to support in-country activity
- Lead and manage stakeholder engagement
- Oversee in-country campaigns in conjunction with business areas
- Develop business cases to support in-country activity that will increase the company’s probability of winning (Pwin)
- Work with strategic advisors
Requirements
- Ability to work with a diverse cross-business, cross-functional team
- Self-motivated, passionate, and confident to work in-region, often independently with support from the business
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in government business
- Essential experience with Defence prime/OEM (working with or for)
- Background in Satellite Communications and/or the Space Sector
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience engaging in public forums and public speaking (acting as the voice of the business in the country)
- Solid understanding of satellite communications use cases in a government context
- Ability to simplify complex solutions to enable stronger customer engagement during the solutions phase, highlighting the benefits of solutions in customer mission sets
- Postgraduate degree in a technical, business, or international relations discipline
