Benefits Specialist

Amazon is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join the MEA (Middle East and Africa) Benefits team. The role requires advanced technical knowledge of employee benefits in the supported countries. Benefits Specialists partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and execute a global multi-year roadmap for benefit administration support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering project management support on complex benefit initiatives.
• Developing and executing change management strategies for benefits delivery and operational activities.
• Collaborating with benefit vendors to ensure seamless administrative processes.
• Defining and monitoring benefits administration critical quality metrics.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to employee benefits.

This position requires comfort with rapidly changing priorities and the ability to work independently. Successful candidates should have a proven history of managing large, complex projects and engaging with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, HR, or a related field.
• Business-proficient fluency in written and verbal English.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in HR.
• 3+ years of project/program management experience.
• Experience in data collection and analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years managing large-scale employee benefit or pension administration programs.
• Proven ability to achieve program success through influence.
• Strong skills in building operational processes and continuous improvement.
• Experience in a Shared Services environment is a plus.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time position.
• Domestic and occasional global travel may be required.

• Business proficient fluency in written and verbal English.
