Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BI solutions from data modeling to deployment.
- Utilize major BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, demonstrating expert-level proficiency in at least one.
- Execute complex SQL queries, optimize performance, and develop stored procedures.
- Design and implement effective data models, including star schemas and dimensional modeling.
- Build and troubleshoot data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes to support BI layers.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and convert them into actionable insights through dashboards and reports.
- Employ DAX or equivalent calculation languages for Power BI-centric environments.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in building BI solutions.
- Strong hands-on skills in a major BI tool; expert-level in at least one (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
- Proficient in SQL, including query optimization and complex joins.
- Experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong ability to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Proficiency in DAX or equivalent calculation languages (if focused on Power BI).
- Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic is a must.
Good to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar unified analytics platforms.
- Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Experience presenting to executive and C-level audiences.
- Domain experience in operations, logistics, parking, or municipal data.
- Familiarity with data governance and row-level security implementation.
- Background in consulting, with experience in client-facing roles, scoping, and stakeholder management.
