We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that will help our clients make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Collaboration with our team of developers, data analysts, and project managers will be essential to ensure the successful delivery of BI projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using various BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop data models and data architecture to support business intelligence solutions.
- Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights and findings to clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BI trends and technologies to continuously improve our offerings.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate BI solutions with other systems and applications.
- Communicate project progress and updates to clients and project managers.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use BI tools and solutions effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence development.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Experience with at least one BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions on time and within budget.
