BI Developer

About the Job:
The company is seeking a BI Developer to develop and maintain business intelligence data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau. The core responsibilities include developing high-performance data visualizations, reports, dashboards, and providing ad-hoc reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and be comfortable with initial ambiguity, offering solutions to guide clients effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting rapid prototyping and coordinating business requests and specifications with a Business Analytics Designer and customers.
• Validating that visualizations perform as expected in an operational setting and ensuring that developed visualizations meet quality standards regarding branding elements like font, color, and whitespace.
• Developing a semantic layer organization visible to end-users.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with Power BI, SSRS, and MSSQL.
• Deep understanding of Relational Models, Tabular Models, and Multi-Dimensional Models.
• Strong SQL work experience is essential.
• Ability to enhance models for custom visualization requests.
