BI Developer/Consultant

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced BI Developer/Consultant to join our team in KSA. This is an on-site position that requires a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in building BI solutions from end-to-end, including data modeling, visualization, and deployment. As a consultant, you will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create dashboards and reports that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

• Build BI solutions end-to-end: data modeling, visualization, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Utilize strong hands-on skills in a major BI tool, achieving expert-level proficiency in at least one (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
• Execute complex SQL queries including query optimization, stored procedures, and complex joins.
• Design and implement data models using star schema and dimensional modeling techniques.
• Build and troubleshoot ETL/ELT data pipelines feeding into BI layers.
• Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate them into actionable BI outputs.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in BI development and consulting.
• Strong skills in SQL for data manipulation and optimization.
• Proficiency in a calculation language (DAX or equivalent) is essential if focusing on Power BI.
• Must be fluent in Arabic, both written and spoken.

Good to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar unified analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Experience in presenting to executive/C-level audiences.
• Domain expertise in operations, logistics, parking, or municipal data.
• Familiarity with data governance and row-level security implementations.
• Prior consulting experience with client-facing engagements, scoping, and stakeholder management.
