About the Role
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer/Consultant with 4-6 years of experience to join our team in KSA. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on building Business Intelligence solutions from data modeling through to visualization and deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end BI solutions, including data modeling, visualization, and deployment.
- Develop strong hands-on expertise in major BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, with expert-level proficiency in at least one of these tools.
- Utilize strong SQL skills for query optimization, stored procedures, and complex joins.
- Engage in data modeling practices, specifically with star schemas and dimensional modeling.
- Construct and troubleshoot ETL/ELT data pipelines that feed into BI layers.
- Gather and translate business requirements into effective dashboards/reports.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience building BI solutions.
- Strong hands-on skills in a major BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik). Expert-level in at least one.
- Proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and complex joins.
- Experience with data modeling concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline troubleshooting.
- Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into dashboards/reports.
- Proficiency in DAX or equivalent calculation language (if Power BI-centric).
- Arabic speaking is a must.
Good to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar unified analytics platforms.
- Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Experience presenting to executive/C-level audiences.
- Background in operations, logistics, parking, or municipal data.
- Familiarity with data governance and row-level security implementation.
- Previous consulting experience with client-facing engagements, scoping, and stakeholder management.
Location and Contract Details
- The position is on-site in KSA.
- A contract duration will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
