You will be responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, organizing and maintaining all financial records, and handling computerized financial information. Key responsibilities also include the preparation and distribution of various reports and invoices, as well as resolving questions or disputes related to financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Review existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
  • Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, and cash equivalents.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
  • Review, reconcile, and process credit card vouchers, advance deposits, and tax exemptions.
  • Respond to and resolve questions or disputes from guests, credit card companies, and banks.
  • Conduct credit checks as directed and follow up on past due accounts.
  • Set up and manage collections of check guarantee service accounts.
  • Assist management in training, evaluating, and motivating employees; serve as a role model and contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
  • Address guests’ service needs with professionalism and clarity.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None required.
