In this role, you will bridge the gap between architectural and engineering design and construction execution. You will leverage advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) frameworks to ensure clash-free, data-rich models that accelerate delivery and streamline future operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- BIM Design & Modeling: Create, modify, and manage high-quality multi-disciplinary 3D models from conceptual design through to As-Built stages, ensuring compliance with project BIM execution plans (BEP).
- Clash Detection & Resolution: Lead federation processes and conduct comprehensive clash-detection workshops to resolve design conflicts before they reach the construction field.
- Standards & Quality Assurance: Audit incoming model data from sub-contractors to enforce strict Level of Development (LOD 300 to 500) parameters, as well as data geometry and metadata standards.
- Design Engineering Support: Perform routine engineering calculations, prepare detailed layouts, and extract precise shop drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs directly from the coordinated BIM model.
- Digital Workflow Integration: Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and client representatives to transition BIM data into Asset Management and digital twin frameworks.
Required Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering design and BIM implementation on complex infrastructure or mega-scale building projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Professional certification in BIM Management or coordination is preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in industry-standard software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, Civil 3D, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud. Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and parametric modeling tools (e.g., Dynamo or Python) is an advantage.
Desired Skills:
- Location/Adaptability: Must be willing to relocate to and work full-time in the Tabuk region. Direct experience with the stringent BIM delivery requirements of Saudi Arabia's giga-projects (such as NEOM, Trojena, Oxagon, or Red Sea Global) is preferred.
- Communication & Coordination: Strong technical English communication and interpersonal skills are required to drive cross-functional alignment across architecture, engineering, and construction teams.
