BIM Electrical Modeler

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical systems in various construction projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical designs are integrated seamlessly into the overall building design.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in drafting of electrical works in consultant companies.
• Professional and expert user for Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Conduct clash detection and communicate clash reports to the design team.
• Coordinate multiple Revit models.
• Prepare design drawings for Lighting, Power, Containment Layouts, Lightning Protection, Earthing Layout, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Prepare Cable Tray/Trunking sizing and perform containment and MEP coordination.
• Detail schematics and assist engineers with problem-solving while coordinating with other services such as Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Plumbing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler focused on electrical systems in construction projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other related tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) are desirable.
