The BIM Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, establishing, and implementing BIM across projects. The role requires strong knowledge of BIM procedures, ISO19650 standards, BIM software, and technical skills for managing BIM models, contractual documents, and quality control measures.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the adoption of BIM processes and procedures aligned with ISO19650.
  • Serve as the primary contact to clients on all technical modeling matters.
  • Manage BIM deliverables from different Design Teams ensuring compliance with EIR and BEP.
  • Lead the implementation of Pre/Post Contract BIM Execution Plans and EIR’s Appendices.
  • Coordinate model production with Design Teams according to specific protocols.
  • Oversee project-wide BIM Quality Assurance/Quality Control monitoring.
  • Guide Design Teams in implementing a library of objects with embedded content according to Appointing Party requirements.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Architecture/Engineering (preferably a Master's degree).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Design from a Civil/Architecture/Engineering background.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM implementation on major projects or programs.
  • Minimum 4 years of regional experience in the GCC.
  • Expert knowledge of core BIM software packages and workflows.
  • Exceptional management and communication skills with the ability to supervise modeling plan production.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical presentation skills, with proficiency in English.

Software Skills:

  • Experience with BIM and Engineering tools such as Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, and Aconex.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, and optionally Dynamo, Python, PowerBI.
