Responsibilities
- Deliver BIM solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects under project management oversight.
- Provide training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which includes creating 3D models based on project specifications specific to water treatment facilities and distribution systems.
- Create comprehensive drawings and models as required for assigned water and PMC projects using industry standards to meet specifications for water treatment components, pumping stations, pipeline systems, control systems, etc.
- Coordinate with project management consultants and stakeholders to ensure BIM models comply with project schedules, budgets, and water infrastructure design standards.
- Manage BIM documentation and model coordination across multidisciplinary teams involved in water infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure design and modeling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard BIM platforms and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment facilities, distribution systems, and pumping stations.
- Experience coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project management consultants and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Autodesk Revit certification or equivalent BIM software certification.
- Experience with PMC (Program Management Consultant) projects.
- Background in training and mentoring design staff on BIM systems.
- Familiarity with water infrastructure industry standards and best practices.
- Project management experience in the water/wastewater sector.
- Knowledge of control systems and pipeline design specifications.
