The company is seeking an experienced BIM Manager – Infrastructure to lead BIM management and digital delivery activities within a consultant supervision team in Dubai. This role will focus on managing BIM processes throughout the construction stage, monitoring contractor BIM deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements and BIM standards, and coordinating digital information between the supervision team, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Lead and manage BIM activities within the consultant supervision team throughout the construction stage.
- Establish, implement, and monitor BIM workflows, standards, procedures, and information management requirements.
- Review and monitor contractor BIM submissions, models, federated models, shop drawings, and other digital deliverables for compliance and quality.
- Monitor model development and information requirements across project stages, including LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500 deliverables.
- Manage multidisciplinary BIM coordination across relevant disciplines.
- Lead clash detection and coordination processes, review identified issues, and monitor resolution and closure.
- Ensure contractor compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan and agreed workflows.
- Coordinate technical BIM matters with the supervision team, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage contractor 4D and 5D BIM workflows, providing technical guidance as necessary.
- Establish and maintain BIM quality assurance and quality control processes for project deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to enhance BIM processes and digital delivery practices.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager or senior BIM professional within infrastructure construction or consultant supervision.
- Strong experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination and construction-stage BIM management.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and landscape BIM workflows, model coordination, and clash detection.
- Understanding of Level of Development (LOD) requirements—especially LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500.
- Experience with 4D and 5D BIM methodologies.
- Proficiency in BIM and coordination platforms such as Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 and international BIM standards.
- Preferred familiarity with Aldar BIM Standard and previous experience in infrastructure and landscape projects in the Middle East.
