About the Role
The Architectural BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining precise architectural 3D models within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment. This role requires coordination with multidisciplinary teams, producing detailed shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project standards to support the design-to-construction workflow while addressing complex challenges in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D architectural models for exterior and interior spaces, as well as landscaping, using Revit or other BIM software, in accordance with project LOD requirements (LOD 350, 400 & 500).
  • Prepare coordinated shop drawings, sections, and schedules derived from the BIM model.
  • Ensure compliance with LOD, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and project-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (Civil, Structural, and MEP) to identify and resolve clashes, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Set up families and libraries for architectural systems.
  • Update models to reflect design changes, RFIs, and site modifications.
  • Export models/drawings for submission in required formats (DWG, IFC, PDFs).
  • Support project engineers and managers by providing accurate quantity take-offs and relevant data from models.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to solutions for multidisciplinary issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM files.
  • Support visualization and walkthroughs using rendering visualization tools (a plus).
  • Conduct model quality checks and audits to ensure adherence to established standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools.
  • Experience with rendering programs (Lumion, Twinmotion, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of architectural details, finishes, partitions, ceilings, doors, windows, landscape, and façade models.
  • Understanding of common data environments (e.g., ACC/BIM 360).
  • Familiarity with international architectural standards and dimensions.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork capabilities in a multidisciplinary setting.
