Position

The company is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled BIM Coordinator/BIM Modeller to join our busbar engineered-to-order (ETO) team in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. This full-time, on-site position involves creating accurate and detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for busbar routes in commercial and data center buildings. The BIM Coordinator/BIM Modeller will report to the BIM Manager and will collaborate closely with mechanical design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure that designs meet relevant agency and industry standards, as well as customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare busbar layout 3D models and 2D shop drawings based on project requirements, deadlines, and specifications.
  • Conduct review meetings at each project execution stage with team members to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Track and communicate BOQ changes to the BIM Manager and relevant project teams.
  • Identify and communicate any discrepancies in drawings or specifications.
  • Complete project designs on or before the estimated completion date.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working in the factory and on-site.
  • Maintain a zero-error standard at project closeout and uphold the company's HSE and Equal Opportunity policies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience as a BIM Coordinator/BIM Modeller, ideally in high-rise building and data center projects.
  • Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows and familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English is required.

Physical Demands:

  • Light lifting (2-10 kg) may be required.
