Job Description:
The company is looking for an immensely talented BIM Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in translating urban planning concepts into detailed and accurate digital representations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with urban planners and architects to develop detailed Building Information Models (BIM) and layouts for urban planning projects.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of authority approvals relevant to urban planning, such as DM, DDA, etc.
- Create base maps, including sign-off sheets, plot development guidelines, and land use plans, by digitizing and organizing collected data.
- Possess understanding of land use schedules.
- Utilize software like AutoCAD to create and manage layouts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide understanding in BIM workflows, standards, and best practices to optimize the efficiency of the urban planning design process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments to the layouts/BIM models.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a BIM role within the Urban Planning or Architecture field.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and standards.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of urban planning concepts and terminology is a plus.
