About the Role / About the Job:
In a world of possibilities, the BIM/CAD Technician will be a key contributor in the design and drafting of infrastructure dry utilities, primarily focusing on MV and LV power distribution, lighting, telecom, and security networks. This position is based in Dubai, UAE, and requires the ability to perform a range of design and drafting assignments, from basic to moderately difficult levels. You will work closely with CAD & BIM Managers and Design Leads to ensure project deliverables comply with the required standards and quality expectations.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Experience in infrastructure dry utilities, including MV, LV power distribution, lighting, telecom, security networks, pump stations, bridges, and tunnels.
- Collaborate closely with CAD & BIM Managers and Design Leads to complete assigned project deliverables.
- Develop engineering drawings including basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details from rough sketches, adhering to established standards and procedures for timely completion.
- Review each drawing for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards in accordance with company QA/QC processes.
- Strong knowledge of content creation, able to create a variety of parametric and non-parametric families.
- Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues.
- Perform additional responsibilities associated with this position as required.
- Preference for candidates knowledgeable in local authority electricity standards and regulations (DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, DM, etc.).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5+ years of CAD drafting experience in infrastructure and dry utilities projects, including MV and LV power distribution, lighting, telecom, security networks, pump stations, bridges, and tunnels.
- Required software proficiency in BIM-Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environment tools: ProjectWise and Autodesk Forma (ACC).
- Fluency in English.
