What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure project compliance with policies and processes.
- Develop engineering drawings, including layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details, from rough sketches and general engineering information.
- Understand the BIM modeling process and manage all BIM-related activities from project start to completion.
- Review each drawing for readability, presentation, and adherence to QA/QC standards.
- Create different types of parametric and non-parametric families, demonstrating good knowledge in content creation.
- Coordinate with other disciplines on model development and coordination issues.
- Utilize Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and produce associated reports.
- Generate scheduling and quantity extraction from the BIM model.
- Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate for the position.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5+ years of CAD drafting experience within the MEA/UAE region, specifically in roads, highways, road signs & markings, and traffic studies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Navisworks is essential.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise and BIM360.
