Position

The company, a leader in construction and project management for over 125 years, is seeking a BIM/GIS Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and management of the Project GIS/BIM Management Plan in accordance with customer requirements. This role involves utilizing Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and GIS/BIM tools for managing and analyzing design, coordination, construction, and scheduling (4D Construction Sequencing). The successful candidate will also be responsible for training Delivery Partner staff to ensure compliance with BIM requirements and maintaining the Project GIS database.

Major Responsibilities:

  • GIS Analysis and Mapping:

    • Conduct spatial analysis and create maps using GIS software (specifically ESRI ArcGIS Pro v3.2.0).
    • Integrate GIS data with BIM models for enhanced project visualization.
    • Develop and maintain geospatial databases to support project needs.
  • BIM Management:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards and protocols.
    • Supervise the development of project BIM models and facilitate seamless information handover between Lead Design Consultants and contractors.
    • Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and workflows.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Engage with team members and stakeholders to align on customer requirements.
    • Prepare reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings.
    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on BIM and GIS technologies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Required knowledge includes providing automation support, conducting training, and assisting with project automation plans.
