Blockchain DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Blockchain DevOps Engineer to join our team at the company. In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various venture projects related to our core business. You will be involved in creating scalable applications, ranging from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote, Flexi-work hours, Hybrid setup

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support blockchain infrastructure.
• Review and propose configurations for blockchain software and network setups.
• Develop a deep understanding of blockchain technology, focusing on public blockchain.
• Identify and share insights on security threats related to blockchain technology.
• Define and maintain the team's continuous devops lifecycle and automation.
• Design and manage cloud computing workloads, ensuring cloud security posture.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in DevOps or system administration; candidates with less experience may be considered for a Junior position.
• Basic understanding of blockchain; experience in deploying blockchain is a plus.
• Proficiency in various cloud platforms (Amazon, Azure, Google).
• Experience in infrastructure as code (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Ansible, etc.).
• Familiarity with container infrastructures (Kubernetes, docker-compose, etc.).
• Ability to build, deploy, and maintain monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana, etc.).
• Good understanding of security operations areas: Linux, Networking, Firewall, IDS/IPS.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
• Team player who is eager to learn and open to continuous improvement.
• Enthusiastic about the future of blockchain and comfortable with ambiguity.
