About the Role
In this position, you will execute branch tasks related to new business with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring an excellent customer experience. You will promote and sell a range of financial products to meet assigned sales targets while providing expert guidance and information to customers, all while adhering to the Staff Code of Conduct. The role will also involve handling repetitive and well-defined problems with limited solution options under direct supervision, following established policies and procedures. You will support branch operations under your Line Manager’s supervision and comply with departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Execute branch tasks related to new business with accuracy and timeliness.
- Promote and sell financial products to meet assigned sales targets.
- Provide expert guidance to customers while upholding the Staff Code of Conduct.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Line Manager to support branch operations.
- Adhere to Business Continuity Management (BCM) protocols and ongoing training.
- Foster relationships with internal departments and customers.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Branch Governance Charter and service standards.
- Follow Operating Procedures consistently.
- Deliver assigned sales tasks accurately and within timelines.
- Maintain professionalism and ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Identify and prospect new retail customers for bank products.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Promote personal loans, credit cards, auto loans, accounts, bancassurance, and other approved products.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with branch team members and support functions.
- Participate in ongoing training and product knowledge sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking sales or financial services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of retail banking products such as loans, credit cards, and bancassurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced branch environment.
- High level of integrity with strong awareness of compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking CRM systems.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid banking license or relevant certification (preferred).
