Key Responsibilities:
- Create builds from various branches for multiple platforms.
- Coordinate with development teams to gather changes going into a build.
- Plan internal deployments for QA and other teams for testing.
- Document changes going into a build and circulate build notes with relevant teams.
- Plan and schedule build cycles.
- Write/enhance build scripts for maximum automation and deployments.
- Create/enhance automated systems for reporting build failures and their reasons.
- Manage available build machine resources and optimize parallel builds and build time.
- Prepare solid builds for release.
Experience & Expertise:
- Expertise in communicating, resolving, and documenting issues in the build process.
- Experience using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS S3, Xcode, Android Studio, and Visual Studio.
- Proficient in using Mac, Windows, and Linux machines for creating builds.
- Experience writing Groovy scripts, batch scripts, and shell scripts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and its workflows and procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and process-oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in build creation and deployment, including release steps and store deployment.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of the Unreal Engine build process.
