Business Analyst – Business Banking

About the Job:
The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a Business Banking Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements across Business Banking products and services. This role demands a deep understanding of customer onboarding and account maintenance, collaborating closely with Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis & Requirements

   • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
   • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
   • Conduct requirement workshops with business and operations teams.
   • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.

2. Business Banking Expertise

   • Lead initiatives related to:
     • Customer Onboarding & KYC
     • Account Maintenance
     • Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
     • Cash Management

3. Stakeholder Management

   • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Users, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and IT teams.
   • Facilitate workshops and requirement walkthrough sessions.
   • Manage requirement change requests and impact assessments.

4. Testing & Delivery

   • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
   • Prepare test scenarios and business validation scripts.
   • Participate in production readiness and post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Minimum 3 years in Business Banking, SME Banking, or Corporate Banking.
• Strong understanding of Banking Operations and Regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Knowledge of:
  • KYC & AML
  • FATCA / CRS
  • Business Account Opening
  • Corporate Customer Servicing
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio/Draw.io.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile Certification.
• Banking experience within UAE/GCC market preferred.
