Business Analyst - Core Banking

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong Core Banking expertise to bridge the gap between business strategy and technology execution. This role is ideal for someone who understands banking operations deeply and can translate them into scalable digital and core platform solutions.

Location: Katowice, Śląskie, Poland
Work Conditions: Hybrid (2 days in office / 3 days remote), Full-time

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Define and design business architecture frameworks aligned with banking transformation goals.
• Work closely with stakeholders to map business capabilities, value streams, and processes.
• Drive core banking transformation initiatives (modernization, migration, or integration).
• Collaborate with IT and solution teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
• Conduct gap analysis across legacy and modern banking systems.
• Support regulatory, compliance, and risk-related initiatives.
• Contribute to target operating models (TOM) and roadmap planning.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Ability to break down complex problems and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Approaches challenges with an analytical mindset.
• Over 4 years of experience in Banking & Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of Core Banking platforms (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, TCS BaNCS, Flexcube, etc.).
• Experience in digital transformation / core modernization programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments.
• Expertise in Business Process Modelling (BPMN, UML) and banking domains (Retail, Corporate, Payments, Lending).

Language Requirements:

• Ideally, proficiency in German at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
