Business Analyst – Data Lakehouse Program

About the Job:
The company is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for their Data Lakehouse Program. The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders across business and IT to gather, document, and manage requirements, conduct workshops, and translate business needs into functional specifications. Responsibilities will include data analysis, quality assurance, facilitating testing, and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders for requirement gathering and documentation.
• Conduct workshops to ascertain business processes and data needs.
• Analyze data flows, review mappings, and ensure accurate reporting requirements.
• Define and validate data quality rules, support profiling and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with reporting teams for report repointing and validation.
• Prepare documentation including BRDs, FRS, and UAT scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience in Banking and Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakehouse, and enterprise data models.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data quality concepts.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cloudera, Informatica, Teradata, Denodo, Kafka, and data platforms.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting and knowledge of data governance frameworks.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA are preferred.
