Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Document business process requirements and flow for process development or improvement projects.
- Engage with business leads to understand new project scopes and create corresponding scope statements and high-level requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams to document system integration requirements, ensuring clear communication and delivery.
- Analyze current work procedures, investigate alternative solutions to business needs, and recommend preferred solutions compliant with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT Business Systems Analysts to align business processes with technology solutions.
- Participate in systems analysis design sessions as needed, develop user acceptance test cases, and execute user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor, track, and report UAT defects while coordinating with the QA test team for defect remediation.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information management, or a related discipline.
- 3 years of business analysis experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of business requirements analysis and interpretation, particularly in the UAE insurance market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- Proven understanding of business process re-engineering and experience in creating UAT documentation and leadership.
- Familiarity with analysis techniques such as process modeling, data modeling, and process mapping.
- Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Project, Visio).
