As a Business Analyst – Maintenance Management, you will be the key link between our maintenance operations and the technical teams supporting the IBM Maximo Maintenance Management System. You will collaborate with planners, engineers, reliability teams, and operational leaders to enhance maintenance and asset-related processes and define system requirements that promote safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and enhance maintenance and asset-related business processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead change management related to system updates in Maximo, ensuring strong data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze labor, equipment, and maintenance performance reports for planning and budgeting.
- Review maintenance data to identify issues and recommend improvement actions.
- Work with IT teams and stakeholders to optimize system functionality.
- Gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and assess the feasibility of proposed enhancements.
- Oversee work-order and maintenance processes ensuring high-quality data and cost tracking.
- Provide user support and training to enhance system adoption.
- Mentor colleagues and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive), IT, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintenance or Fleet Management within an engineering-related environment.
- Experience with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or Material Handling Equipment maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to implement actionable insights.
- Experience with maintenance management systems (ideally IBM Maximo).
- Advanced planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in IT systems and computer literacy.
- Strong technical writing, supervisory, customer management skills, and safety awareness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo or similar maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of aviation ground handling or GSE environments.
- Experience in improving processes related to work orders, preventive maintenance, or asset management.
- Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
