Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with SMEs, engineers, and stakeholders to elicit and validate business requirements for upstream systems.
- Translate functional needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and model current vs. target workflows for multiple integrated systems.
- Define KPIs, reporting requirements, and data attributes.
- Collaborate with client teams and act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders.
- Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, and process diagrams.
- Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support UAT by defining scenarios, preparing test cases, and validating deliverables.
- Manage change requests, identify risks, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Oil & Gas, Energy, or large-scale IT transformations.
- Strong knowledge of upstream processes, permitting, tie-in projects, technology approvals, and facilities shutdowns.
- Familiarity with GIS systems, SAP integrations, and enterprise workflows.
- Experience in business process modeling using BPMN/UML and tools such as ARIS.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Fluent English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) certificate (with IT-related discipline) is required for this position.

Work Conditions:
The usual working hours for full-time roles at the company in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements, and flexibility is accommodated whenever possible.
