We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team and support Tarabut’s BaaS Unit, which is enabling banks to externalize their APIs to meet Open Banking standards. The role primarily focuses on three key markets: Bahrain, KSA, and UAE, so candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to one of these regions. As part of the Client Delivery team, you will report directly to the Head of Client Delivery and play an integral role in API integration projects, managing client relationships, and supporting banks in navigating the evolving landscape of Open Banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- API Integration & Analysis: Support banks in externalizing their APIs, ensuring adherence to Open Banking standards. Analyze technical specifications of banking APIs and infrastructure to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. Simplify complex technical information for various stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across Bahrain, KSA, and UAE, ensuring alignment on project objectives. Build and maintain relationships with banks, developers, and third-party providers.
- Documentation & Support: Create and maintain technical documentation, provide ongoing support during the API implementation process, and stay informed of the latest Open Banking trends.
Key Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Basic to intermediate understanding of Open Banking APIs and banking infrastructure. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML is preferred.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational & Analytical Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and analyze technical data effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in financial technology or banking.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
