Business Analyst / Product Owner (Airline)

The company is a leading provider of information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services, dedicated to helping the world's prominent companies build stronger businesses. This role reports to the Senior Product Manager, and the Product Owner is accountable for defining and prioritising user stories within the team backlog. The role involves driving quality control and validating that the delivered stories meet the defined acceptance criteria. The Product Owner will work closely with multiple scrum teams to ensure that product features and functionalities are clearly understood for each iteration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the product strategy, vision, and roadmap alongside the Senior Product Manager.
• Review and prioritise the team backlog during Iteration Planning and coordinate dependencies with other Product Owners.
• Continuously improve the backlog, ensuring all items are well described, estimated, and prioritised.
• Ensure the scrum team comprehends the required product features and functionalities.
• Detail features and user stories, including acceptance criteria and tests.
• Validate that stories meet acceptance criteria and comply with the Definition of Done (DoD).
• Facilitate regular demos to stakeholders and lead iteration retrospectives to drive discussions for improvement.
• Maintain system training materials and conduct training sessions for new system rollouts.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working in product development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
• Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner, or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Lean Portfolio Management.
• Proven ability to define, deliver, and launch products.
• Strong technical and business operations knowledge.
• Recognised as a collaborative team player with excellent communication and coordination skills.
