About the Job:
As a Business Analyst in Valuation and Modeling at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in the Financial Advisory Services. You will collect, assimilate, and analyze relevant data, using standard tools and data visualizations to surface insights for our clients. Your responsibilities will include managing your work against the project plan to ensure a superior client experience, gathering and interpreting financial information to strengthen proposed recommendations, and supporting quality and validity of valuation analyses through thorough research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze relevant data using standard tools and data visualizations.
• Manage your work according to project plans.
• Gather and interpret financial information for recommendations.
• Conduct economic, financial, and industry research to support valuations.
• Construct financial representations and analyze key results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent, with emphasis on finance or investment analysis is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial consulting or related fields, preferably in Corporate Finance, focusing on business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, and financial modeling.
• Willingness to pursue a financial designation (CFA/CBV/CF/CA).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent business writing skills.
